We're back at Cherai Beach, and staying at Akanta Ayurveda Resort and Spa. It's beautiful...! Kateri, Katie and I have sea view rooms in a villa right on the beach across from (but still part of) Akanta called "Happy Camper"... and that we are! I don't know how we lucked out.
We're so happy for the amazing experience at Village Ways (houseboat on the backwaters) the last couple nights. Epic.
Jan 20: We're starting our 15-day retreat. We met up/had lunch with several people from Las Cruces who I know from Dwell Yoga. We'll be here for a couple nights - mostly relaxing with some Ayuervedic massage treatments and a cultural/dance performance.
Jan 21: Today was mostly a rest day. 6 a.m. sunrise yoga, a private breakfast at the villa, a prescribed Ayurvedic treatment/massage, kayaking with dophins (which killed my phone), laundry, and sunset and dinner on the seaside veranda. :))
